From 2015/16, we aim to improve everyone’s knowledge and safety by running half-day Logs for Labour courses. The agenda for the courses is roughly:
12:40-13:00 Why do L4L? Particularly what are the benefits of L4L for woodlands and biodiversity?
13:00-13:15 Risks in the woodland and how to avoid them
13:15-14:30 Visit woodland / coppice products / safe and good working practices
14:30-14:50 Tea and biscuits
14:50-15:10 First aid for woodland events
15:10-15:50 Woodland management
15:50 -16:00 Questions and conclusion
The courses cost £30. We have run two so far (22.11.15, 10.1.16). No date has been set for the next one, but please contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in attending a future event.
